I'll be honest with you

Taking your business to that level you know is possible (and attracts your dream clients) is not about following the cookie-cutter marketing and sales tactics out there. It’s never about doing whatever everyone else *out there* is doing.

Clients tell me all the time: “I know this is my soul’s calling and life’s mission, but I’ve tried it all and I’m still stuck. I’m feeling so unmotivated and this close to giving up.”

Listen, my own soulpreneurship journey sounded a lot like that at one point. I took the overpriced courses, listened to the business coaches that “knew better”, and implemented the “tried and true” strategies. And sure, I experienced some success. And eventually I hit a ceiling I couldn’t break and my business started to feel less and less like my mission and more and more like a business I was no longer excited about.

But I guess I’m lucky to have a therapy and yoga background, because I reached for those skills to dig deep, reflect and break that ceiling in order to create a more aligned business. Those were the tools I needed to face my own imposter syndrome, embody my truth and elevate my business.

I realized that the vision we carry in our hearts doesn’t just happen – it’s a conscious choice we make to do the inner work to embody that vision, first and foremost.

And this is why so many of us coaches and service pros get stuck. Because the traditional business and marketing advice out there doesn’t tackle the inner stuff that’s keeping us stuck. But if there was a secret sauce to success, it’s inner work first, true confidence second, and then business and marketing that reflects the newly embodied confidence that shines from the inside out.

We have to embody that next level first. And then move forward.

After years of making that conscious choice myself (time and time again because it’s not a one and done thing), I can wholeheartedly say I became more confident in my abilities in order to bring my own vision to life and embody my truth.

 But that took a lot of work – starting with the inner work. And most of the soulpreneurs I see fulfilling their highest potential work from the inside out, too.
